Updated versions of the Google Cloud Platform Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service were posted on February 6, 2023.
| | | Dear 布丁, We're writing to let you know that on February 6, 2023, we clarified our Google Cloud Platform Acceptable Use Policy and updated our Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service. What do I need to know? - We have clarified our GCP Acceptable Use Policy by specifically calling out prohibitions on certain actions, including activity that promotes terrorism or child sexual exploitation.
- We have updated our Google Cloud Platform Terms of Service in Section 3.6 to make clear that companies whose primary business is to host third-party content or facilitate the sale of goods or services between third parties must take reasonable steps to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. These steps include maintaining a publicly accessible method (e.g., web form or email alias) of receiving notices of illegal or abusive content.
- We have also clarified the language in Section 5.2 that Google will only access, use, and process customer data in accordance with our Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
What do I need to do? Please review the updated terms and refer to this Help Center FAQ for more information. To see how our terms have changed over time you can review the available previous versions at the bottom of the applicable terms pages. Thanks for choosing Google Cloud Platform. | | | | | —The Google Cloud Platform Team | | | | | |
