Google Play has recently issued emails and public announcements updating its target API level requirements, which will directly impact the App release, updates, and discoverability of apps on the platform. Please make sure to complete the necessary adaptations by August 31, 2025 to avoid issues with user downloads or disruptions to app publishing.

Tuya OEM Apps and App SDK have already adapted as follows:
● v6.2.0 and above templates are adapted to Google API Level 35 (Android 15).
● v5.8.0 and above templates are adapted to Google API Level 34 (Android 14).
For customized apps:
Please promptly contact your project manager to complete the Google API adaptation to ensure your app remains in normal publishing status.
P.S.
You will be able to request an extension to November 1, 2025 if you need more time to update your app. You'll be able to access your app's extension forms in Play Console later this year.
