In order to enhance memory management efficiency and overall system performance for Android devices, Google has announced that starting November 1, 2025, all new app submissions and app updates targeting Android 15 and above must support a 16KB page size on 64-bit devices in order to be eligible for distribution via Google Play.
[Risks of Incompatibility]
● Rejection of Submission: Applications that do not comply with the 16 KB page sizes requirement will be unable to pass Google Play's review process and will be rejected for publication starting November 1, 2025.
● Application Crashes: Apps that have not been properly adapted may experience crashes on end-user devices configured with 16 KB page sizes, resulting in a poor user experience.
Tuya plans to release Template v6.7.0 in mid-July. With this update, the Tuya OEM App and App SDK will fully support the 16 KB page size. To ensure the normal operation of your applications and prevent any adverse effects, please upgrade to the latest version and complete your app submission promptly after the release.
