The EU Data Act, published by the European Commission, will take effect on September 12, 2025. The provisions on data accessibility will apply from September 12, 2026, requiring IoT products and services placed on the EU market to support user access to and export of device data.
To support this function, on 05/14/2025, Tuya has launched a new feature in the OEM App [version: 6.5.0] that allows users to easily view and export their device data through an intuitive interface. This feature is now fully available to both OEM customers and SDK customers.
Upgrade Instructions
● OEM Customers: Upgrade the App to v6.5.0 or higher to automatically enable data access and export functionality.

User Operation Guide
For EU users on App v6.5.0 or above, data can be exported via the following path: App > Settings > Privacy Policy Management > Export Device Data
